hello, first post on here. my uncle recently gave me this dining set that originally belonged to my great aunt and uncle. they bought it new in the 50's, or early 60's in either kansas or missouri. i believe the (4)chairs, and table legs are solid maple, while the table top is veneered maple.
i'm thinking the style is danish modern? or maybe mid-century? i cant find a manufacturer's mark of any kind, although the chairs have consecutive numbers handwritten in crayon on the bottom. the hinges on the drop leaves say Walter of Wabash. who i guess made the hardware.
anyone have an idea of who made this set or relative worth?
