I know of no 'kits' for repairing 'ripped' canvases .... I'd suggest that you get in touch with a local art conservator (for a pro repair) .... in the event that your painting is of fairly low value , the cost of a conservators' services may exceed the value of your painting .
There are also 'non-conservator' artists who do side-work repairing canvases , if you can find a willing person .
Usually torn canvases require some restoration of the painting (the ripped-through section that has been painted on the paintings' surface) itself , too .
I have seen many oil-on-canvas paintings that have been damaged , many of which have had badly-performed 'repairs/restorations' that were more costly to have re-repaired (as compared to the cost of 'doing it right the first time') .
