Fishman Ceramic Jar - Any Ideas?

I saw this today and fell in love (I like some pretty quirky things).  I don't care if it's worth $1.00 or $100.00... I just like it.  I came on here in search of any history or manufacturer info that anyone may have.  There are no markings on the bottom of the piece.  Thanks for any help you can offer!

P.S. It may not even be old... I can't seem to find anything online about it.

wendy177- It is approximately 7" tall with the head on and the head comes off like that of a cookie jar.  I've attached another pic.

Rauville- VERY cool... does look pretty darn similar.  Mine doesn't have the markings on the bottom though... but they could be "cousins", haha.  Thanks for sharing that one!

Found him     not much info, not sure if yours is  modeled after vintage majolica tobacco humidors and designed to look like a vintage one or is indeed a vintage majolica tobacco jar.
many books are available to help you decipher the difference between authentic majolica and the machine-made modern stuff. One of the reference standards is Warman's Majolica: Identification and Price Guide, which covers the field comprehensively, including antiques and rare pieces. or Majolica: A Complete History and Illustrated Survey by Marilyn Karmason.

Thanks, wendy177!  That's him alright.  I just had a similar reply on another forum.  So he's new, but I still love it!  I didn't pay a ton and I got little education on these type of humidor/tobacco jars.  I'm always happy to add some more knowledge of antiques.
