ID'ing a Pie Crust Table - Imperial Furniture Grand Rapids MI

Hello,

Familiar with Imperial Table Furniture?

I have a Leather Top Pie Crust Table. Measures 30" Round x 24" H. Markings are Imperial #1985.

I'm interested and information regarding this piece. Type of wood, Circa, value, etc...

Any information will be appreciated very much!

Imperial furniture co. operated from 1903 to the 60`s !! They had a reputation for making quality furniture !! Tables were made of quality mahogany as a rule but did use other woods for inlays as well as leather for tops as your table is !!  Your table likely dates from late teens or 20`s !! They are not very valuable as most do not collect from that era !!  Price on your table is around $250. or a bit more if it is a tilt top !!

Those Phillips head screws weren't invented until the 1930s. I would say the table is a bit later, more like the 1940s-ish. It's very pretty!

Imperial started using the shield shaped label in 1917 and continued through the depression era before changing !! I thought those may have been replacements but may be a little later !! Looks like something else on top part of that pic but couldn`t tell what it was !!  Nail ??
