Old tool I found
« on: March 20, 2012, 02:32:23 pm »
I posted a few months ago, then had computer problems.I wanted to know what this old tool was used for and its age. Some thought it was some kind of nailer.   Many people responded and wanted more pictures. Sorry I didn't get back sooner but here are more pics.

This looks like a hand crank chainstitch sewing machine, but I think we are seeing it from the end/side in your photo, can you show a photo of the front/back of it? (longest length of the manchine) Or maybe a nailer based on a sewing machine design. Interesting.
