mart, the two pics I reposted are (top) micaela's, (bottom) ebay listing.  I came across several other figurines by the same artist and  some had a black or green finish, others had what appeared to be two toned (I forget how it was described). I was wondering if micaela's had originally had a darker, more solid finish originally but had been subjected to such poor care over time that it became mottled. I believe she also mentioned that the flash was affecting it's appearance .

Could you please try and take another pic of your piece without the flash on in a well lighted (natural light) area.  We are trying to make out why yours appears the way that it does.  Thank you!
