Cut and Etched Glass Berry Set
« on: May 14, 2012, 07:42:13 am »
I inherited this 8-piece Millersburg berry set, Hobstar and Feather pattern, but now I'd like to sell it. In researching it, I came across this Web page where it is listed as being worth over $200.

I know I can't put that price on it at a garage sale venue. What would be a reasonable price to ask?

This pattern does sell well on ebay & I would say that an asking price of $200.00 for all 8 pieces is very reasonable, Having said that at a tag sale no way maybe  $60.00 , I would Take very good photos & place all 8 pieces as a group sale on ebay starting at $180.00.  Good luck :)

I agree. You would be insulted by people at a garage sale if you asked anywhere near what it is worth. If there is a quality auction house in your area your could sell it there. By quality I mean one with a large following on line and regionally. Not one of those every week junk sales where the same 20 people show up.  Or as the previous poster says, Ebay and ask the 180.00. It is a good set and that is what sells.,
