Here are the pics of the one given to me by the Salvadoran man in around 1997 or 8. The maker's sig is "Ciro". He told me that Ciro has made wooden masks for a long time in El Salvador and is now (at that time) in his 90's and still making masks. He also gave my older son a mask of a skull and gave my younger son six masks of assorted subjects and one or two resemble the ones you posted. Although mine is definitely of a Latino male, others of his work are of other genders, African, Asian and Caucasian. Also there is no evidence of electrical tools being used in the carving of both yours and mine, looks like wood chisels and scrapers only.
