Very Heavy Crystal Information
« on: July 08, 2012, 07:14:53 pm »
I was wondering if anyone can tell me what type of decantors these are?  I have not seen anything like them in my crystal research.  I believe they are Bohemian Crystal and just one of them weighs 7.2 pounds. They are 16 inches high with a 15 inch circumference. Any crystal experts on here?
Thanks

Was going to say a covered goblet until I reread and saw they're 15" in circumference  ::)

A compote? Though not a common shape they do turn up with an image search using crystal covered compote

Beautiful crystal! It looks like compote comes closest...

Thank you all. Now I just need to figure out the best way to sell it.  Ebay is so up and down right now.
