Two Cats and a Dog
« on: August 29, 2012, 08:30:27 am »
This is what can happen when you have two cats and a jealous dog living under the same roof,..they all think that each of them are your favourite,so when one see,s the other getting attention, they in turn can become quite jealous,...and sometime,s this jealousy, can lead to mayhem...as is what happened today...we were in the kitchen ,and suddenly, the noise coming from the livingroom...told us,that all hell was breaking loose....when we went to investigate...one cat was hiding under the sofa, with our dog desperately trying to get underneath it,the other cat was half way up the curtains ..and  one of my wife,s prized ornaments, that had sat on the mantle piece was in 3 bits...see pic,...it is a Capo,D,...well it was at lunchtime...but now its a jigsaw puzzle..., Now where did i put that tube of super glue!!..
I make no excuses,and no apologies....but i like a good Malt,

There,s no doubt about that....but which one?....but having said that,....which ever one it was....it was,nt worrying about knocking anything over in its haste to escape the slavering jaws of our Beardie/Border...sheepdog....when you think about it....it was really the dogs fault.....No Dog!!! = no cats fleeing for their lives....simples,....now where did i put that super glue.....

Your problem would be solved with a smaller dog...one that could chase the cats from beneath the sofa and out the door.

I rid our house of cats with just a few of these:

"Gus"

My mother use to have a Chihuahua,....and it was scared s*****ss of her neighbours cat.... ;D
that cat was a Maine Coon...3ft nose to tail,15in floor to shoulder...and weighed 26lb...and i,m of the opinion it would have had "Gus" for breakfast.... ;D

All I could think was ohhhhh gawd! when I saw that. I can imagine how she felt. Hubby bought me a beautiful Royal Doulton horse years ago and he sat high on the mantle out of kids' reach.  Well until child No. 4 decided to practice her golf swing with daddy's putter, whilst standing on the hearth.  :(

Hubby replace him for me with an exact replica, then a few years later managed to do the same by reaching over him for something wearing a baggy sleeved housecoat.

Now the two of them are 'stabled' together in a safe box. They may not be intact, but the memories are  ;)
