Repo Chinese Laquered chest.

We are just back from a local furniture auction...and we picked up this Repo,Chinese laquered chest, it cost £36 + the buyers premium of 20%...and Avril and I a fair chuffed with it...its in immaculate cond,it measures 30in x 15in x 18in..and has a velvet and laquered interior.There is a Chinese combination lock to go with it...but we have at the moment mislaid it....Its not an old one...maybe 5/10 years??? ..or it could have been made yesterday..i just don,t know..there are no visible markings on it....so there could  have  been umpteen made....but at £36 we think its a really good buy

Nice chest for $60... Are you flippin it or keeping it? Is that inlay or transfer?

its definitely a transfer....if it had been an inlay....then it would,nt be the cow that was jumping over the moon.... ;D...and keep yer peepers off, we,re keeping it... ;D
