Need Help Identifying Silver Crucifix (possibly Spanish)

Another piece from my Grandma's estate. Never saw this one before. It was in a box mixed in with other items. Cross and chain is silver. Very detailed. Faces on the links of the chain and the cross. For some reason I am thinking this is Spanish but not sure why I think that. Just a hunch. Anyway, I see no hallmarks or writing or symbols or anything on it at all. Anyone know how I can date this or find it's origins? I've been looking at this all week and have no idea what to make of it. It really is beautiful. The pics do not do it justice. ANy advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance!
