The above chest was offered for sale by a dealer for 40K, i offered 15k, NO!, i offered 17.5k, NO! I moved on even though i still wanted the chest. Several years later, the dealer quietly put the chest up for auction & got less than half of what i had offered years before, and so it goesssssssss.

This is exactly what i mean...4 months ago..I bought at auction 4 x JR150 hifi speakers.for £4..I sold them for £900...the guy that bought them..sold one pair for £1100...and kept one pair for himself....question is..was I a fool...answer...No. ..I made good money...and so did he....

Any time I can make a reasonable profit,,I take it !!  The market can change tomorrow and the buyer can change his mind !!  Never look a gift horse in the mouth !!

Well only had one that was thrown in with a trade because they didn`t need more "boys" !!  Now he is a gelding and one of my best !!  Wild as a march hare when I got him but a freebie anyway !!
