Contact for what ??  Its a fruit cutlery set by a well known maker ??  What were you wanting to know ??

Id like to know a Year it was made.  If the pattern has a name.  Along with a good estimate of price.

I've given one. Having done this stuff for a long time, including Sheffield silverware and plated items.

These aren't just wild guesses.

" the mark of a cutlery maker, rather than a silversmith " same thing in Sheffield for many companies. Not called Cutlers for nothing.

this is the one i,m talking about....

After Jonathan Cape had printed the first edition of the Bond title " Moonraker ", someone noticed a variation on the printing. On page 10 in many copies, the word " shoot " has no ' t ' . It fell off or was  covered by something during the process ( some people believe it was initially covered up then became clear later )

It happens in printing / stamping.

The big difference is also noted that the &S are together for the maker that ya'll are wanting to link it to...This one isn't.

There are also alot of makers that try and make their identification marks ever-so-close to well known ones to try and gain success from their coat tails.  So, I am not on the bandwagon on this one.

I have looked at that over and over....Unless the company changed their lettering styles for different sets (don't think they would but stranger things have happened)

Could it be?  Yes...but I wouldn't bank on it.  They don't match up for me if I was selling it to state it was that.

If you look at the enlarged pic tat the poster put...it is pretty distinct and doesn't look worn or faint.

I think that ..he thinks..that he,s got something unique....trouble is..if we can,t find...any ref..to the stamp...then...he may just have to accept it.....
