This is the box cover for tea set in mint condition,don't think it is very old. Just curious what that says.

     I see cartoon Figures and one with a finger up,  Sure this is a language, Looks like one of those crazy Fonts to me.

What you have there is a side handle tea pot, a cooling bowl, tea cups and saucer?.  Saucers are not included majority of the time -  but are an additional item.  If there is only one saucer it usually fits under the cooling bowl.

The purpose of the cooling bowl is that you first steep your tea.  You then pour it into the cooling bowl to "cool off" to the desired temperature.  You then pour into the individual cups.

This isn't used  everywhere but is fairly common.

"Hi!  Sorry!  The letters are Chinese.  I used to know more Chinese characters, but since I am not using it, I am forgetting them slowly.

Also, they made letter with too decorative shape.  I cannot clear to see the letters as well...  I only know Tea (茶)."
