Unidentified Carr and Co. LTD Carlisle Tin

Got this as a Christmas gift from a friend. I know that Carr is a company that makes biscuits and crackers and such, but I can't seem to find out what this particular tin was used for. If anyone knows, I'd be glad to hear your opinions!

I like that it was sent through the mail and maintains the date and stamps!!!!!

Yep, for bisquits (on our side of the pond...cookies!)

....Its a Biscuit Tin...its as simple as that...Carr & Co...sold many of their biscuits in tins...here,s a similar sized one...some are more valuable than others..especially if they are an odd shape..or very colourful
