Small Leaded Glass Lamp
« on: January 17, 2013, 10:58:32 pm »
I sit here every evening with this lil' lamp over my shoulder...and am just now getting curious about it. I bought it maybe 30 years ago, and have never really known much about it. It showed up at my shop in the back of a pickup, along with a load of misc. that a family was getting rid of. I brought it home at the time, rewired it, and have been using it ever since.
The leaded shade is made up of hundreds of individual pieces, making up 6 petaled flower designs (about the size of a quarter) with a red center in each one. The shade measures 12" in diameter with the height to the top of the lamp measuring 19". The lamp is adjustable in height, by raising and locking the shade with a setscrew if so desired. The shade has no damage and is unmarked.
The base and stem are bronze(?) and are totally unmarked.
Any ideas as to maker, or age? Thanks

Oh pretty! Can you photograph the underside of the base please? I think I would also like to see a photo of the inside of the bulb socket too, be sure to unplug it first, we don't want you getting zapped!

Would look good with a better shade on.

Looks like a 70s reproduction.
