It's a mark which has been used and copied on many bisque / porcelain / pottery items for decades now.
Unfortunately those piano babies are almost worthless.

That baby looks like a Japanese one from the 1960s. Some early German versions can fetch
hundreds of dollars as can some Rose O'Neill cupie examples. See link http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290849365342&item=290849365342&lgeo=1&vectorid=229466
Unfortunately that one has little value to collectors as Ipcress said.

The early German ones that Frogpatch mentioned are the way to go. As said, the one pictured here is virtually worthless.

Thanks for the help!! Yes they do have sentimental value thanks. Just wanted to make sure I did not need to insure them.

Don't let the monetary value dull your sentimental value for it!

I have lots of things considered "worthless" by many but are priceless to me!!!!  So do all the others on the forum!!!
