Needlepoint Picture
« on: April 16, 2013, 08:07:49 am »
Im not sure of the value of this piece. It is a beautiful piece of art that obviously took some time! I have had this for 20 years or better!
There's a tag on back that says Handmade by Terri Walker, it's approx. 42" L X 21 " H... Anyone have any info?Thanks a million!

These were common in the 1800,s...they were usually done, by young ladies,to show off their needlwork skills...they are often judged by their colour and how many stitches to the inch...what would help a great deal, would be,knowing which country you are in...
I make no excuses,and no apologies....but i like a good Malt,

This one is much newer than that !! The spelling Terri with an I is very modern !!  Can you take a pic of the back and one a little closer of the front ??

Totally agree with Mart about the spelling and it is most likely mid 1900's (according to name book Terri was starting to be spelled this way then).

Looks like 1960s. I would think the value would be less than $100.

Not so very Modern... :D...[ 2 syll. ter-ri, te-rri ] The baby boy name Terri is also used as a girl name, with the latter form being much more common. Its pronunciation is TEY-R-iy- †. Terri is largely used in the English language, and its origin is Latin and Old French

In our area would sell for $25 - $40.
