Is this depression glass?
« on: April 28, 2013, 07:32:46 pm »
We bought a lot of pink depression glass today at a yard sale. I saw this piece and liked the color so I tossed it into the deal. We got ten pink pieces and this blue one. Does anyone know about this ice blue piece? I really like the color. Thanks

Some did make the ice blue and if I remember correctly it is one of the rarer colors !!  Look here for many patterns and known colors !!

Looks like Depression to me. Very attractive color!

Yes,  your piece was produced by Imperial Glass Company late 1920s to early 1930s  Called Diamond Quilted , Diamond quilted blue is a bit like ice blue but with a shade all its own. This pattern in Red & Black are the most difficult to find. The blue is one of my favorites!  :D
