I have a Native American Scout jacket it has approx 10,000 seed beads and aprox 12 colors. There are eight police buttons dating 1860-1875. Two of them are from Tower & Lyon Co, NY, the others come from Thomas Carlyle Aston Birmingham England. The coat appears to pre date the buttons. There is a floral pattern that has meaning on the front, back, cuffs and pockets. The hours in the bead work are startling. Serious offers welcome. I obtained it from a government trapper that has long passed. Has anyone seen or know a place on the web to veiw different styles of these coats?
