Older Trinket Box?
« on: June 10, 2013, 01:46:44 am »
Hey guys. I have what appears to be an older trinket/jewelry box. The box is made out of lightweight material. The top lid features a painting. Do you know what the painting is called and who it was done by
? What time period would this item be placed around? And how much do you think this would be worth in US Dollars? Thank you so much!!

This box looks like a  laquered Paper-Mache box....the "painting" on the top..is most likely a transfer....i have a similar one here...date wise...late,1800,s early 1900,s...value IMO,...around $40
I make no excuses,and no apologies....but i like a good Malt,
