mind you...nothing stopping me having fried red tomatoes...done to a green tom recipe....they,ll no doubt still taste the same.....

no they won't, ....... no more than would a slice of "green" (non-ripe) tomato taste the same on a BLT or a hamburger.

Agree with cogar, they don't taste the same!  They red ones also fall apart easily!  But they do still taste good!

I do like the mill idea!  Thanks cogar!

;D They will grow by themself.

Put one (1) or 2 tomato plants right beside of your house, preferably in a flower bed, on the East or Southeast side. Drive a stake beside of them and then put strong cord from the stake to the eve of your house. And as the tomato plant grows ... keep it loosly tied to the cord with a 1/2" strip of cloth or a piece of the same cord.

And that one (1) plant should provide you all the tomatoes you will eat until cold Fall temperatures kill it.

As long as you continue to "tie-it-up" .... it will continue "growing upwards".

our temp..is measured in celsius...as opposed to your fahrenheit...our average summer temp, is 18deg celsius..or 64.4 fahrenheit...which for us is good....its not too hot, and you can enjoy the warmth, and still be able to function....as opposed to lying in the shade all day.. i can,t be doing with those high temps....where you have to sit with yer arse in a bath of cold water...Nah...give me every summer with a guaranteed 64.4....and i,d be as happy as this guy..... ;D
