chinese old pocket watch

this is a working silver chinese pocket watch and it have the key.

how much do you think this watch is worth?

What about the inside ?? Case is evidently Chinese but what about the watch movement ??  That's whats important !!

This may be dumb question , but when you say watch movement, you mean maker right?

Are their a lot prominent Chinese watch makers? usually think European...

I mean the watch itself,, not the case !!  You can put a watch into any case !!  I really have no idea about Chinese watch makers !! Other than the newer ones you hear little about them !! Generally when something says "Made in China" people tend to run in the opposite direction !!  Could be there are quality watchmakers there !!  But since this is something Artx is thinking about buying (I think) its good to check the maker before dropping money on it !!

Weldphaser mart means the inner gears (movement) and inner workings. Many times these come from a separate maker than the outer silver/ gold or metal case of the watch.
