My 2 cents says that these little guys are not 'antique items' .

I'd say that they are remnants from a 'scrap fire' (somebody burning off insulation from copper electrical wires) .... best +50% guess is that these were part of 120VAC cheapo (plastic) injection-molded extention cords/X-mas lights & etc. (the 'plug' end) !!!

Perhaps Fancy but I see no burned areas !! And the ties at the end appear to still be plastic covered and not melted !!

but he,s right about not being antique,...these are pieces of scrap metal,....that someone decided to bury..rather than put them in the bin.....

I can't seem to i.d. / dunno 'bout the insulation on the 'wires' connected to the item , mart ... may be so , or no .... just going by the shape & patina on the items !
