Value of a very old grass edge trimmer
« on: October 26, 2013, 06:26:47 pm »
I moved into a 1956 house after the original owner passed away and found a very old edge trimmer in the shed (see attached photos). I was going to put it on the curb to give it away, but my gardener told me that he's never seen one like it and encouraged me to find out if it is a valuable antique. Does anyone have an idea of how much it is worth or where I can take it to have it appraised (somewhere near Anaheim, CA)?

It's a cylinder (reel) blade. You can see it in the close-up photo.

Yup, someone would throw that into a dumpster on their way to purchase a $600 piece of exercise equipment.  ;D ;D ;D
