Nichols & stone. 3 rockers.
« on: November 26, 2013, 07:56:56 pm »
First time poster here. Thanks in advance for any info. Bought these three rockers from a thrift store and was looking to get a age and value on the two seemingly older ones. Both of which are stamped with 02 and branded with Nichols and stone. One is a child's rocker and they both have Phillips screws in the back of the arms. Were the early ones made with flat head screws?

Philips screws..probably mean that its been repaired, by someone who was,nt too bothered about the age of the chair...
I make no excuses,and no apologies....but i like a good Malt,

Yours look like mid century or later version of their Boston Rockers !! Are the screws in all of them ?? The company is still in operation !! I believe they are owned by Stickley furniture !!
