46th Battalion (The Brighton Rifles) - Hat Badge

Hi all,

I have had these items for a few years now and I'm trying to find out more about them.

The hat badge is from WW2 and was worn by the Australian 46th Battalion (The Brighton Rifles)

The cufflinks I know very little about, they might be a WW2 Major's uniform badge turned into cufflinks but this is just a guess.

Im trying to find out the value for both items and where the cufflinks may have come from.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Found the patent for the cuff link attachment. However, I am not an expert on the decorative side. Maybe someone else here can help with that. Good luck!

In Australia, my guess is they all have something to do with Australian army.

cufflinks are worth very little and made post WWII, after 1960 when the patent was filed.

Nice badge though
