Flea Market Finds

Greetings,

I apologize in advance: I need to ask assistance, again!

Got this piece of clear Depression Glass today...a whopping $4.00! It measures 5.5" high and 5.5" wide at the mouth. The bottom has the number "12" molded in.  Can anyone identify the usual: Maker, era, pattern and value? Thanks.

Also wanted to share another 'get' today: Contemporary Fenton Carnival Glass Compote in the Persian Medallion pattern...a big $3! Now we all can sing "Hey, big spender"! LOL

No, the first one isn't a stand out in the beauty department. But I have a thing for ugly ducklings! Also, the guy was selling tools and I don't think keeping this one whole was a top priority.  I saved it! LOL

I think I have discovered that the first piece is a punch bowl stand. It could be an LE Smith piece since they had the multiple ribs from what I saw on Google Images.

Beat me to it Dogaman...it is a punchbowl stand (minus the punch bowl)!

So many people wouldn't use the stand and they would get separated over time. I have used mine together and separately over the years.  However, the stand that I have is almost a small serving piece itself and have used it that way as well.

That's what I plan to do. Also, will probably pass on to our granddaughter for her birthday or such.  If something happens to it, it is no big deal.
