It may have been in Germany before America but that is not German craftsmanship in my opinion. Maybe the legs are, they have no place on a sideboard of that style from the period.

Dewain,  ;D on images if check there under colonial revival there isn't much. If you put in jacobean check the results. I am only going by what my eyes saw. Nice find Ipcress. This piece is in such bad shape. It looks like it's been used in a garage! I don't mean to insult your sideboard, it does look a little worked over. Needs some good tlc.

Thank you everyone. I will get more pictures when I go back tomorrow. No insult taken. It has sat in a basement for 20 years at least. It was abused. I'm just wondering whether its worth to save or not. I do know that a lot of it is veneer on there. It's peeling off on the china cabinet due to a flood but the table is in the best shape out of all of it.

I thought I had seen them all but don`t remember that one unless it was a later show,, !! The end of the series was not as good !!

Jacobean Circa 1603 to 1666. 18th Century. Hepplewhite design's Sideboard. circa 1760's. Popularity fall's in the 1880's late Victorian renewed interest. NO particular style anything goes.
