Well they don't look a bad buy but we'll have to see. Have seen the same designed but only partially frosted glass sell for less money, but even then that could have been a bargain

These were $300

Same design but partially frosted.

?? Not sure what you mean.

The price one will pay for an item is directly proportional to how much they want or need the item.

And in the case of antiques or collectibles, the price one will pay for an item is directly proportional to whether they are purchasing said item for themself (or a customer) or for resale.

And ps, the difference between the above stated (or a customer) or for resale .... is that oftentimes a customer will tell you .... "if you find one, BUY IT", period.

And thus the reason you often see a "highly inflated" price on an item that was "sold".

I once seen, many years ago, a small (1 qt) "marked" stoneware jug sell at an estate auction for $185 ...... and people in the crowd were saying "WOW, I didn't know they were worth that much".

They weren't, ..... only about $20 at the time.  ;D ;D ;D

In the case of that jug, it was two men, both dealers/pickers, and each decided independently that the other fellow was not going to buy that jug ...... and the race was on. :D

So disappointed.  One came smashed in the mail today. Now I have to search for a matching one. I contacted the seller to see what we can do.

Thank you, Dogaman. They wrapped it poorly. I was annoyed.
