German Print?

I was curious about the photo itself too. With no info, I guess I could google German photo prints and see what come up.

Looks more 60's-80's to me. Even the style of the photograph.

Strange., this house was boarded up for over 50 years. I wonder how this got there if newer.

Have you cleaned it before taking the photo ?

No, I didn't. the house was damaged inside from pigeons. Sounds crazy, but they were the only ones living inside, lol. I picked through many items. My husband wouldn't let me take a lot of the items because it was to much. When a new property starts usually if there are things inside I go through them first.

Well it looks very clean for something that's been in those conditions for that long.

50 years takes us back to the 60's and that's possible.

It doesn't look 40's

Obviously has some aesthetic value but not sure about historical

I didn't think it had much, but the photo itself I found really strange. I was curious was it a museum print. Which I'm sure is cheap. It's the topic that got me. It seems so depressing and dark. It could be 60's. I'll have to ask my husband what the paperwork said. I forget it's 2014,;D. I was born in 1960 and I'm 53 which could make it very possible. I went through a lot of prints and can't find anything. The name of the print or artist.

Could be a gallery item judging by the size.

Location and artist probably impossible to determine.

I tried using a description of the print but,,its difficult to describe !!  You might try using "famous German photographs" Or "German photographs as art" !! If its a gallery print it isn`t the only one out there !!

I checked that, mart. I even checked museum prints you would buy in a gift shop. I checked photography prints.

Send a pic to an art gallery and see if they recognize it !!

The brick street looks like it could just as easily be in Philadelphia as Germany. The photos look like 1910s to 1960s. Neat stuff!

Thank you Ghopper. Never really thought of that, Philadelphia is flat mostly. Manyunk is the only area of Philadelphia with hills. Similar to San Fransico. The streets are brutal in the winter. Hills with ice are no fun.
