Need help in describing 5 Persian / Oriental Rugs
« on: July 27, 2014, 01:41:25 pm »
Hello again I need help in describing and figuring out the origin of

these rugs if possible. I have five (5) rugs that might be Persian

of origin but would like to be sure and would like to know what they

are called. Thank you in advance. Here they are:

Rug #1

Dimensions: 68" X 39"

Rug #2

Dimensions: 62" X 35"

Rug #3

Dimensions: 29" X 24"

Rug #4

Dimensions: 57" X 29"

Rug #5

Dimensions: 61" X 41"

The pics are so distorted cant tell much except a blur of a pattern !!  From what I can see they look like pretty generic imports !!

They're not imports. The gentleman that owned them previously before his demise bought them over 50 years ago in Iran. I don't see a blur. Unless you would like me to attach the images on this thread instead of linking them via url?

Found out from an outside source that the first rug, Rug #1 is a Caucasian maybe Shirvan,  circa 1910. Just in case anyone needs a reference.

Ok I reduced the size of the images of the rugs so the images should load faster. I hope this helps. If anyone has any clue, that would be great.
