I have about 79 pieces of Royal Copenhagen consisting of cups, saucers, plates, vase, teapots, serving dishes, etc.
Attempting to learn as much as I can about the value of these so that I can sell them at a fareprice and not be taken advantage of. Over the past couple weeks I took pictures of the items but unfortunately did not photograph every piece front and back not realizing that the marks on the back are important in dating the pieces. They are not with me where I live and would have to make special arrangements to have them photographed again.
Meantime, I made a list of all the items and the marks etc along with the number of pieces. I have been looking all over the internet to see if I can get some type of idea of what they are worth. They seem to range in dates from 1960's and one small vase from 1930's. I went to Royal Copenhagen's site and understand the marking descriptions. The challenge is how do I determine what these are worth. Is anyone aware of a good resource that will help guide me in determining the value of them. I would assume also that depending on the artist it may determine the value (initials next to series number).
If anyone has some experience in Royal Copenhagen and has any information to share with me it would be greatly appreciated.
I have checked eBay but can't tell what the items are actually worth compared to what they are selling for.
Thanks so much for any assistance.
