Stradivarius Violin
« on: May 15, 2005, 04:54:33 pm »
I have a very old violin with case.  On the inside it reads:

                  "Antonius Stradivarious Cremonensis"

                                   "  Faciebat Anno 1725  "  (In Script)

I have had it for 17 years, and I am searching to see if someone can tell me if it is a true stratovarius.  Can you guide me in the right pathway of whom to contact?.  Thank YOU.

Hi Steve......There are so many copies on the market that you need to have it looked at. You can start with typing your info into a search engine. This will give you a lot of information on Strads...........
