Any Doll Aficionado's Out There
« on: August 19, 2014, 06:41:54 pm »
Can anyone help me out in identifying a maker or approximate year for this doll.  I am not even sure where to start researching something like this.  Any info would be helpful.  Thank you!

Look at the back side of the doll...down from the neck and look at the "derriere" section for any makers information.

Pretty sure this is a modern reproduction !! Very well dressed though !! China painting was very popular back in the 70`s and 80`s !! Probably when this was done !!

I was wondering if she could be an I Love Lucy doll, but I don't see any that look like her. You might also want to try the eBay doll community forum: http://community.ebay.com/t5/Dolls/bd-p/218

Her face,, the shine from the glaze, no wear that I could see,,as good as she looks she could have been made yesterday !!
