Stretch Glass Vases

Greetings,

I was wondering if y'all can help hubby and I identify these vases. They measure 8.5 " tall and 3.5 " diameter pedestal base.  We don't normally go for items like this, but since there was a pair...sigh...well, you know.

Those are also called "slung glass" vases.

This is what I would call a swung vase as that is the action taken to create this shape. The base of the piece is clamped into a metal mold with a long metal pole attached and swung allowing gravity to elongate the piece, longer pieces are swung full circle.  Without any research I would say this piece is Murano. Probably around $30.00 each.

OOPS!   I spelled it wrong, didn't I?

Long time ago, I bought the wife a Fosteria "American" swung vase, a 14" one I think it is, and she was really pleased. (Like the one pictured below)
 
Then I told her how cheap I bought iit .... and she was more pleased.

Then I told her not to get too cited ..... cause iffen she held it up to the Sunlight "just right" ..... then she would see that it has an "internal" crack for bout 6 or 7 inches up the side of the vase.

But it still sits in its "special" place in her collection.
