Hi there! My wife just bought this desk for $125 from a friend/co-worker. I was hoping that someone would be able to help us date and possibly get an idea of the manufacturer of this beautiful old desk. Questions are VERY welcome.

it appears to be the work of, derby&kilmer desk co. circa 1885 to 1905. $450.00 to $500.00 dollars.
