I saw your post on GW but did not feel educated enough about antiques to answer regarding price. But I met two sellers in my area who could not sell very good condition Eastlake dressers that had fantastic mirrors. One had a vague offer for $100 and the other seller had no offers at all. I understand some people don't like Eastlake pieces but I was really surprised that there was almost zero interest in them at all.

That's right !!  Have yet to figure why in many areas Eastlake does not sell well !!  It does much better when used as an ocassional piece !! A room full of it can be a bit much !!

I think a major reason for Eastlake as well as most victorian furniture is, it's size. Victorian furniture tends to be quite large and can over power an average size room with 8 foot ceilings.

I had 2 Eastlake caned-seat chairs out for my last garage sale and got two offers - both $5. I told them I was thinking more like $35. They walked away.
