New Ebay scams

This is a little heads-up , concerning a new scam on Ebay , whereby a seller requests/redirects (sometimes from an 'innocent' looking link) a buyer to a copy-cat website (looks like Ebay , but it ain't) .

Using the link/webpage (bogus one , that is) will open the buyers' computer to 'invasion' of software dedicated to finding passwords , secure info & such .

Check the URL (s) to be sure you're really on the Ebay (should have a prefix of "https") website to avoid this scam !

I changed my acount type after the eBay hacking to a more secure account and PayPal made me crazy. New Federal Guide lines. I gave them proof of  everything to who I was. They could rob me blind now. I told them so. Them made ME feel like the criminal. How will the Internet fight these criminals? Fingerprints?
