Hukin and Heath Decanter

Seeing the other thread on the Hukin and Heath item prompted me to have a dig in my cupboard. I bought this a while back from a charity shop in the UK and its Hukin and Heath 1929 Hallmarked silver head and obviously glass. No damage at all. I suggest its for Claret as it holds well over a normal bottle of liquid.  Anyone fancy putting a price on it ?

No my friend it is a decanter I do know that. I don't think you would want to try and warm a whole bottle of Brandy. Pic below of a brandy warmer. If you heated this glass up with the liquid in I reckon it would shatter. Not to worry found something else where that pleases me for my £75 pound investment

I just think this is a decorative claret/wine decanter!  Very attractive and appealing in design!

Yes, I looked them up !! Seems ducks were the going thing then !!  Ducks and wine are a strange mix IMO !!

Oh !! Was just noticing the similarity in names !!  That explains it !!

Wow !!  Nice knives but don`t think I would put one in my tackle box !!
