The wife said it is not listed in her Fire King book.

So its either a rare piece, a new piece or a repro. ??? ???

I looked for that two hours yesterday !! Found the top but no pedestal !!  Forgot about all the crafters "creating" stuff !! But,, it would look good with some candy in it !!

they actually did a great job with the glue-just is obvious when you are looking for it-

and by the way fire king should consider the style, here I have it hold banana/s fruit to those handy 8" pies I buy.

thanks for everybodys time

I looked and looked for that as well.  I was coming to the same conclusion.

With Pinterest/Upcycling going rampant, you are going to see more and more pieces like this married!

I do like it.  Would be wary about what goes in it (toppling).  But some light, crunchy cookies would do just fine!  :)

A friend of mine used to pick up odd candlesticks at garage sales and small vintage dishes and make these !! She used a clear silicone adhesive same as glass companies use to glue the edges together for showcases !! It was almost invisible !! She hung chandelier prisms on some of the lace edge dishes !! They were inexpensive to make and she filled them with candy for Christmas gifts !!

The big craze is to not only make them for tiered plates...but to make them for gardens!!!!

Like these bird feeders

I could not find it in my depression glass book. Your library might have a copy of Gene Florence's anchor hocking fire king & candle sticks book
Plymouth, America's Home Town.

thanks pelady for taking your time on it.....still can't get over the bird feeders myself--isn't the item worth more than a pretty bird feeder/yes I love birds but they will eat out of a bucket!
