None at all !!  Most old photographs are just someones family member and no way could we know who it might be !! Only about 5% of those found or less would have any historical value at all !! I do well to remember faces on our paper money !!

Just a questions, does his stare/eyes follow you no matter where you are in the room?

That phenom is common in Victorian pics !!  I think it happens because the person is just sitting and staring at nothing without focusing the eyes !! I mean after a few hours
the eyes get tired and you are just ready to get out of that studio and probably that suit !!

Just remembering family pics from that era, having seen pics from Victorian mansions, etc.  They just seem to follow you.  The "all knowing eye"....wonder if that is how the Masons and dollar bill came up with theirs?!
