Its not a makers mark that I can find !! Most likely its a style number or import stamp !!  Pretty one though !!

Style looks to be made in mid 1930-1950's.  Even non-marked sets (cup/saucer) in excellent shape sell for $12 - $20.
I'm from the South - but please don't mistake my Southern Manners/Accent/Charm as a weakness!

I believe I read that during the 1950's U.S. Customs allowed imported goods to be identified with "adhered paper tags", rather than permanent marks. Over the years many of those tags probably have been washed away or removed.

no=in fact I found them at two opposite sides of goodwill store.  Can't honestly say they are a pair but they are a match
