« on: February 15, 2015, 01:30:19 pm »
think this is a Persian mirror circa 19th century. Its probely covered with solid silver over wood and than hand hammered designed. The arabic is written in gold.

Found something similair and they call it wedding wedding mirrors? Can somebody confirm this.
I'm more interested in the writing on it. Can somebody read arabic??

Persian languages like Farsi use the Arabic Alphabet but they are not related to Arabic which is a Semitic language. If this is a Persian mirror you will need someone that can read Farsi.

If I'm correct Farsi is written in the old Arabic script and is also full of words of Arabic origins.
