« on: July 15, 2015, 07:27:38 am »
Hi guys,

I have a feeling i will be using your forums a lot!!

I have 1 pair of brass enamel vase's, Chinese in origin (made in china) stamped on the back.  I highly doubt these are old but does have a marker mark possibly? Im not an expert hence I'm here  ;D

The blue and white vase has no markers mark that i can see.

i was having trouble uploading images so i have uploaded to imgur here http://imgur.com/a/ZR4Wi

thanks in advance!

Hi there and welcome !!  Usually pics that are too big for this site is the reason you can`t get them to load !!  Can you resize them and try again ??  About 3000kb is what is recommended but it depends too on what you use to take the pics !!  Some hand held devices take huge pics and are difficult !!  I think the pair are what are known as Dragon vases !!  Is there a mark on them,, couldn`t see if there was or not !!  Need close ups of the other vase,, couldn`t see detail on it !!

Hi, your two metal vases are Chinese cloisonne, and fairly recent. The other one looks like German salt glazed stoneware from the end of the 19th century to me, likely from Westerwald region.
