Needing Help on Makers Mark??
« on: July 25, 2015, 01:05:32 pm »
It's tan/peach colored heavy milk glass. Candy dish, perhaps? On bottom of dish and lid show same marking. A capital "W" with a circle going through the middle of it? I attached a close-up pic of it. Could anyone help me identify the maker of this piece? I'd really appreciate it. Thank you! ;)

I believe the "circle" is actually a stylized "G", to form the Westmoreland Glass mark.

Thats a very nice piece !!  It is Westmorland Glass !!  The circle you see is actually a G that does go through the center of a capital W in some of their marks !!

Yepper, the WG mark was used 1940's to 1980's!  Believe this could be the Harvest Pattern Trinket or Candy dish.
