Antique something???

I have two antique somethings. The look like urns or vases. I am not sure. The are approximately 9 inches tall. There is a picture of a man and women on the front and back sides in what most people would call a victorian style setting and clothing. (The are dressed similar to the way people dressed in Pirates of the Carribean- if you have seen that movie). I am not sure if they are just glass or pottery? But they are ivory in color with gold floral type designs covering most of it. The handles and very top of the lid are complete gold. The bottom of each one is marked "Hand Decorated - Warranted - 22 K. GOLD - U.S.A" I have searched the internet and books  many many times over the years and have been unsuccessful in finding anything about them. I spoke just over the phone with an antique shop and the women said she felt they were 19th century(of course if i brought them to her i would have been charged and i dont want to pay to find out they are worthless). Can anyone help be find out who they were possibly made by or a time frame or what they even might be worth? I have pictures but can not figure out how to post them. So just ask and i will send them or if someone can give me a hand on how to post them. Thanks

are the people like this above?  or similar in dress?  When I watched Pirates of the Carribean I was laughing so hard I can't remember the costumes.

Lots of American manufacturers made a similar pattern.  1930's era. Some companies called it Courting Couple or perhaps it's just referred to that way.  

I've seen lots of it.  It's not expensive.  BUT, I've never seen an urn.  Value of the urns would depend on condition, if it's earthenware or porcelain.  Quality of the transfer design.  Or is it hand-painted?  Use a magnifying glass and see if the design has little "dots", or if it's brush stroke.  Sometimes it's a combination of both.  

My best guestimate would be a minimum value of $50 for the pair.  And these look great on a mantel.  I'll do a bit more googling for you.  KB
