I googled dsix ways from Sunday every combination or scoured makers marks and brands the county city name pored through local registrars and can't find a thing either. It looks really well made to me, the prediction of the joints and detail smooth sharp cuts on the elegant carving just seems to my untrained eye real good work. I briefly worked in a cabinet shop to inderstand the basics of a good piece of work. All the details are tight, sanded real smooth just nice.

How did you come up with nothing ? It even tells you when Henry was born !

What I'm trying to ascertain is if he made the whole sideboard or just a drawer. Have the locks and back been checked ?

Good digging ipcress, i think I assumed that to be a pay site, i bumped up against it though. I'm going to work on another table today at the same place I'll get pics of did you say the backs of the hardware? There's a number on the back I remember. By the way the tables I'm considering refinishing are ships hatch cover tables, and I'd refinished quite a bit of furniture at a job but only for about 8 months. I'll ask Tammy to post for me, but i felt the job was within my abilities its all flat easy sanding stain n clear pretty basic I thought but will follow any advice from u guys
