14k Gold Paul Breguette Ladies Watch

On back of it, it says "14K - 0585". Is this worth anything? I see most going for around between $50 - $100 on eBay. Check link below of my search. Is this particular watch special or worth more? I'm posting this for a friend. Thank you!

Valhom, can you see a mark on the band of the watch?  Sometimes the band is 14kt gold.  Its a pretty watch.  If you can, maybe take it to a jeweler to see how much of the watch is 14kt.  That will help determine its value too.  Does it work?

It's not currently running. It's a quartz watch, does that mean it takes a battery?

Yep it has a battery.  Are you near a Kay Jewelers?  If you search Paul Breguette Watch and Kay Jewelers it says they were sold exclusively by Kay Jewelers and carried a lifetime free battery replacement in the ads in the Washington Post and Texas Monthly Magazine in 1985!

KC, that is a great idea!  Mama did a shadow box of Grandmother's brooches!  It turned out beautiful!
